Why We Meditate

Meditation can do a great deal of good and simultaneously prevent unnecessary challenges.

We Meditate Because…

  • It helps us cultivate advanced self-awareness to:
    • … be more effective in therapy.
    • … become aware of how we feel before we react.
    • … learn which activities which cause chronic pain or burnout flare-ups.
    • … become more resilient mentally and heal faster from burnout, for example, the more we practice meditation.

When We Do Not Meditate We May…

  • … have less energy to fill our responsibilities and therefore less time to do things which bring us joy.
  • … spend more on therapy than necessary.
  • … sabotage important relationships more often.
  • … repeat preventable causes which exacerbate our chronic pain or burnout risks over and over.
  • … solidify bad habits during a period of our lives where we are still impressionable adults.
